On 1 June 2021, a safe space was born — the TDF WhatsApp group.
Created by a collective of tribal designers and professionals, it was meant to be a forum for solidarity, imagination, and self-authored futures.
But over time, it became clear that the space was being watched.
The very institutions and individuals responsible for the systematic erasure of tribal authorship had infiltrated the group — observing, extracting, silencing.
So we chose to erase ourselves.
We have formally dissolved the TDF WhatsApp group and all existing memberships.
This is not the end. It is a severing of shadows.
Fresh memberships will open on 15 June 2025 — by invitation only.
