Madhura Ghane, popularly known as Mahi G, is a rapper and poet from Kalyan, Maharashtra, whose work gives voice to real, raw, and often overlooked issues. Her music resonates with the pulse of the people, addressing themes such as environmental justice, tribal identity, and gender inclusivity.
Mahi G burst onto the scene with her debut track “Jungle Cha Raja” — produced by Rapboss — a powerful anthem that celebrates the spirit and struggles of Adivasi communities. Since its release three years ago, the track has garnered widespread attention for its unapologetic message and cultural pride. Through her sharp lyrics and powerful performances, she has since tackled subjects like the Hijra community, the Hasdeo jungle resistance, rape culture, and the destructive obsession with so-called “development.” For Mahi G, rap is not just music — it is activism, storytelling, and a bold form of truth-telling.
