About Senggai G Momin
Senggai G Momin, a filmmaker and conservation advocate from the Garo tribe, hails from Emangre village in South Garo Hills, Meghalaya. Deeply passionate about nature, tourism, and environmental protection, he began his journey in 2021 with Baghmara Campers, promoting eco-tourism in the Garo Hills. In 2024, he joined CORE GEO Expedition, contributing to cave exploration, documentation, and conservation outreach. A Green Hub Fellow (2024–25), Senggai is currently training in environmental and wildlife filmmaking. He is now also co-directing a film with his brother as part of an HIV awareness program. Through his work, Senggai aims to spotlight conservation issues while empowering his community through sustainable development and cultural preservation.
