Sharing knowledge about footwear design
Praween Xalxo is a Senior Faculty at Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Patna. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Design from Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI), Noida. He has experience of working as a Merchandiser and Product Developer at Carlton London. Further he worked as a Technical Faculty at FDDI, Noida. Presently he is working as a Senior Faculty heading the Footwear Department in FDDI, Patna.
A fondness for sketching and drawing as a child had been the precursor to Praween’s interest in the Design field. As an academic he feels satisfied in sharing his knowledge with students. He heads the Upper Part of Footwear Department in FDDI Patna. He has trained many students in Footwear Design under the Skill India Programme of the government. He is conscious of the ignorance among people regarding footwear design which needs to be tackled by creating awareness.
In the past Praween has created shoes made of Pariya fabric for a fashion show for Sumangal Nag’s collection as well as for Jharcraft.
