The cycle of the Tribal Heritage of India Visual Arts Contest finally comes to all a closure. This was the first ever edition of such a contest. And though the number of participation has been small, we are very encouraged by the involvement of each participant which has been apparent in their submissions.
It is of course very heartening to see how young creative minds, especially members of various tribal communities could visually represent their stories through an exciting visual medium in a very delightful manner. These compositions, we hope, shall enable many, from the community and outside, to get a peek into the rich and unique tribal knowledge system, philosophies and ethos embedded in the respective tribal cultures.
After a prolonged screening, preliminary sifting and final jury presided by some of the eminent professionals from India, we are indeed delighted to announce the winners of Tribal Heritage of India Visual Arts Contest 2022.
