About the TDF SSC Scholarship
Tribal Design Forum and 1EQ Foundation is delighted to announce TDF SSC Scholarship 2024 for SSC aspirants from tribal communities in India on a need basis to provide access to exclusive SSC exam preparation kits for the upcoming examinations.
SSC aspirants from the tribal communities can apply for this Scholarship latest by 07 April 2024. This is the second edition of TDF SSC Scholarship. Applicants from over 25 tribes benefitted from this programme in 2023.
In this edition of the TDF SSC Scholarship, there are 450 reserved spots for female applicants, 450 spots reserved for male applicants and 100 spots for applicants of all other genders.

Who can apply?
Any member of any of the 705 tribes as listed in the Scheduled Tribe list of the Government of India can apply.
Can I apply if I do not belong to the tribe/community listed in the Scheduled Tribe list of the Government of India?
No.
However, you can try and reach out to contact@1eq.in to explore other possible opportunities of availing support in your preparations for SSC.
Is there any age or gender limit?
No age barrier
Open to Omnigender (all genders)
Any SSC aspirant from any of the tribal communities can apply.
Infact, we encourage more women or SSC aspirants from the tribal communities to apply.

What documents will I need to submit while applying?
You must submit your ST Certificate* to validate your claim as a member of the tribal community listed in the Scheduled Tribe list of the Government of India.
*[ ST Tribe certificate is certification provided to the citizen by the government confirming and testifying that they belong to a community listed in the Scheduled Tribe list of the Government of India.]
Why should you apply?
TDF SSC Scholarship is specially designed for the benefit of tribal students who find it financially difficult to avail Exam preparation study material.
How will the TDF SSC Scholars be selected?
The TDF SSC Scholars shall be selected on the basis of their applications after two levels of screening. Applications shall be evaluated on the clarity of intent and need expressed.
How many TDF SSC Scholars will be selected?
450 spots for Men
450 spots for Women
100 spots for applicants of all other genders
What will I get if my application gets selected?
The TDF SSC Scholarship shall provide SSC Exam preparation study material based on the applicant’s need. Highlights of the study package will be free access to the 1PYQ App and complete access to the 1EQ study groups.

Digital Tool to make exam preparations more accessible and affordable.
One of the highlights of the TDF SSC Scholarships is the 1PYQ app – a uniquely designed app where the courseware can be customised as per every user’s individual requirement.
(PYQ is an acronym for ‘Previous Year Questions’ but also relevant with the design approach of enabling the SSC aspirant to ‘Play Your Questions’, ‘Practice Your Questions’ and ‘Print Your Questions’)
1PYQ app enables the aspirants to PLAY, PRACTICE & PRINT the Previous Year Questions of SSC Exams.
1PYQ App contains:

• PDF of Selected Course Books from 1EQ
• CGL 2023 Target Study Group – Daily Schedule & Study Material
The USP of the 1PYQ App is the Audio Books in English and Hindi languages in an intuitive user-friendly interface.
In what languages will the SSC exam preparation material be available in?
All study materials are in Hindi and English editions.
The study materials provided under the TDF SSC Scholarship to each TDF SSC Scholar will be as per the Scholar’s language of preference only.
When will I be informed if my application has been selected?
Latest by 15 April 2024.
How will I be informed if my application has been selected?

About the Initiative
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organisation that conducts various examinations every year to recruit candidates for Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India. Every year, about 30 lakh candidates fill out the SSC CGL application form and about 15 lakh aspirants appear for the exam. (33,55,194 candidates registered for SSC CGL 2022).
SSC CGL examination is very competitive as it covers a wide range of topics and tests the candidate’s knowledge in reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language and general awareness. However, with proper preparation strategy, practice and access to study materials, one can easily qualify through the exams.
Every year, lakhs of SSC aspirants persevere in the preparation of these exams hoping to be rewarded with selection. SSC examination preparation can sometimes prove to be financially difficult for the members of the tribal communities across India, since the aspirants from these communities often come from economically marginalized sections for whom accessing exam preparation courseware could be financially challenging. Tribal Design Forum seeks to explore ways in which design can play a role in making a difference in the lives of members from the tribal communities by offering 1000 Scholarships to SSC Aspirants from all tribal communities in India (as listed in the Scheduled Tribe list of the Government of India) with the hope that it shall provide greater access to quality study material and enable them to prepare well for the upcoming SSC examinations.
