About Kabya

A design strategist, a design researcher, experience curator and chef, Kabyashree is the founder of Project Otenga at Ahmedabad University and Otenga Design studio, a multidisciplinary studio working around designing food experiences and food research. She did her Masters in Strategic Design Management from National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar and Lifestyle accessories design from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai. She has helped set up design divisions for various family run businesses in the domain of Food and Textiles in the past. She has worked as a design researcher on projects for IFB, Mother Dairy, Triveni Industries, Deskera, 1 to 1 help to name a few besides running her own business, She has been consulting as a strategic designer for group of companies called With Waste around building Waste to Art theme parks with Municipal Corporation, Delhi. As a design educator she has offered courses and guest lectures in design process, service design, design management, system design and user-centered design at NID, IIM Kozhikode, CEPT, Ahmedabad University, Anant University and UID.
