Rajashekar Bhukya is a Student of Architecture at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. He belongs to the Banjara (Lambadi) tribe.
A photography enthusiast, Rajashekar enjoys clicking pictures. He wishes to share his knowledge in his village to improve their skills. Design education has helped him visualise the whole structure of buildings, installations and other products. Field visits for case study have enriched his perspective on design. He has been awarded the Ethos Scholarship and Friends of Ambar Beautiful Minds Foundation Award.
His memorable assignment includes a project on Net Zero Building located in Nepal with real consultants. Long term vision includes getting further education abroad and disseminating his knowledge into his community by setting up his own firm at his native place. He wants to change the regular style of construction in India which has no regard for space and geometry.
