About Umar Pardhi
Umar Pardhi, from the Pardhi community, hails from Ashta city in Madhya Pradesh. After completing the Green Hub Fellowship, he worked with Muskaan NGO, where he taught computers to children.
His experience during the fellowship sparked a deep interest in visual storytelling, particularly around the challenges faced by his community. Umar is currently pursuing Film studies at Makhanlal Chaturvedi University.
He is passionate about both documentary and fiction filmmaking and enjoys collaborating with diverse communities. He also has a strong interest in travel and macro photography. Through cinema, Umar hopes to document and represent the realities of his own community, giving voice to stories often left untold.
