About Deepa Xaxa
Deepa Linet Xaxa, Assistant Professor and Centre Coordinator of the Textile Design Department.
Deepa joined NIFT Kangra in October 2018. She has completed her Masters program in Fashion & Textiles from NABA, Milano. During her Masters program, she received a prestigious scholarship from the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. She has worked as a “Textile & Graphic Designer” at Gabel in Italy, Zara Home in Spain and JC Penny in India. Being a NIFT alumni herself and with her diverse range of exposure and knowledge through her eight years of international and domestic industry experience, she has been a great value addition to the TD department. Deepa brings immense value to the Textile Design department through her diverse exposure and eight years of combined international and domestic industry experience.
