About Preety Boro

Preety Boro is an environmental filmmaker and conservationist from Baksa, Assam, with an M.A. in Economics. A Green Hub Fellow (2024-2025) and current Media Fellow with Aaranyak, she has worked on human-elephant conflict research with WWF-India, created films with ATREE, and contributed to Bengal Florican conservation. Preety combines storytelling, field research, and community engagement to advocate for sustainable, grassroots-led conservation.
